Do I need to be present during the inspection? No, you are not required to be there for the inspection. We would prefer that you attend. If you are present, you can ask questions directly and the inspector can explain completely. It is a valuable learning experience and will help you get the most benefit from the inspection. We inspect 7 days a week at your convenience, so that you can attend. Our report is not a checklist. A full narrative report will be generated and delivered (emailed) within 24 hours after the inspection. The report is filled with detailed digital photos and explanations. A separate summary report is also submitted which specifically addresses the items for repair considerations. ____________________________________________________________________________ How long does an inspection take? An inspection typically takes 2-3 hours depending on the size and condition of the home. Larger homes, or homes that are in poor condition may take longer to inspect. _____________________________________________________________ Can a house fail a home inspection? No. A home inspection is an unbiased report based on the condition of a home at the time of the inspection. An inspection is a description and examination of the components of the home, and any repairs that may be needed.
